Thank God for Your True Identity

Thank God for Your True Identity

by Mike Prah on November 25, 2020

This old world has a way of blinding us from the truth of who God says we are. You don’t have to believe what someone else calls you or labels you. Throughout the pages of the Bible, God shouts wonderful truths about our new identity, and He whispers to convince us these things are really true. We need new ammunition to fight against the world’s labels about us, our human inclination of pride and shame, and the enemy's schemes that convince us we’re unworthy and undeserving misfits. This ammunition is a list of beautiful, inspiring, “I am” statements listed below. Let them all sink into your soul, and then pick one or two that has special meaning to you to lock in your heart.

Thank God that you are not what the world says you are, but what He says you are! Thank God today for your real identity in Christ!  Live thankfully! God bless you!

I am loved by God (1 John 3:1)

I am forgiven by God (Colossians 3:13)
