God promises blessings to those who obey Him in giving. The Bible teaches us to give God generously of all He provides for us and expect Him to respond graciously and generously. When we give to support the Lord’s work, it is giving back what was His to begin with. All that we have, or hope to have, comes from God. The Bible says that God is the supplier of everything. It teaches us to always put God first in our lives.
“Everything we have has come from You, and we give You only what You first gave us!” (I Chronicles 29:14, NLT)
